Here at 1985 Games, we have always been visual gamers. Over the decades of D&D and other TTRPG’s, miniatures have always been a staple for us. So to say that we would eventually try our hand at them was an understatement. With the release of our new book Cursed Lands and the rerelease of Curse of Strahd; we knew our first collection of miniatures had to be gothic horror inspired. We set some goals of what we wanted our miniatures to achieve. They had to be the correct size for D&D gameplay. They had to be of high quality. They had to be models we thought were unique or not common. And they had to be as cool as we could possibly make them!So with those goals in mind, we got to work.Right away we started working with concept artists and 3d sculptors to develop our best ideas. After it was all said and done we had 11 models to bring to the world. These 11 miniatures are gaps in the current D&D market, so we made them ourselves. Our hope is you like them as much as we do.
